Customer Engagement Specialist

The Customer Engagement Specialist will strengthen brand loyalty through customer outreach, advocacy, and up-selling to promote growth and satisfaction within the current customer base and acquisitions.  



  • The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
  • Maintains an excellent knowledge of our software products and services; and can perform demonstrations of Azalea products and services to customers as needed.  
  • Engage in activities designed to increase customer advocacy, satisfaction & referrals of existing customers
  • Use creative problem solving skills to meet customers needs
  • Build relationships with the economic decision makers within customer accounts
  • Excel at building relationships by phone, email, and in-person
  • Some travel may be required



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Aptitude in customer service/client relations and a friendly disposition
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in a related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in health information technology and/or software support required
  • Key skills: influencing, leadership, teamwork, account management, planning and execution, problem solving/analytical thinking, relationship building (internal and external)
