JOB SUMMARY:

Azalea Health is a leading SaaS based Health IT and EHR company experiencing phenomenal growth.  In support of our growth efforts, the Sales Team needs the skills and expertise of an experienced Sales Engineer to add value for our prospective and current customers in support of the sales process. Buyers today are astute, discerning, and desperately seeking answers to their gaps, and they’re seeking answers beyond the status quo.  In order to win , Azalea Health, having built a world class product solution and sales team, has anchored on the strategy of engaging experts – Sales Engineers – in the process to add value and differentiate our offerings.  Our needs cross both the inpatient as well as outpatient markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Work with the team to qualify business opportunities and understand customer requirements, goals and challenges to map solutions to customer needs
  • Provide on-going technical support to well qualified prospects conducting evaluations with Azalea Health offerings
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof of concept in support of sales calls
  • Document and communicate product feedback, new requirements, and competitive intelligence from market activities to product management/engineering
  • Provide technical support in the sales process that includes verbal and written response to inquiries covering Company products, usage, and best practices to include TCO analysis
  • Shape sales strategies with the Sales team to win at targeted customers and position our products as the best solutions for prospective clients
  • Support broader marketing initiatives by performing tasks such as presenting and speaking at conferences and webinars
  • Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Making technical health care solution presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Providing training and producing support material for the sales team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 Years of experience with direct use and/or supporting the use of Electronic Medical Records in hospitals and clinics.
  • Demonstrated excellent presentation skills and ability to adapt to stressful and uncontrolled situations while remaining positive
  • Clinical background in nursing, pharmacy, lab or other core clinical discipline will be considered a plus
  • 3-4  years of experience with Health Care IT terminology and regulatory requirements and trends of the industry
  • Previous experience in supporting, training or selling rural hospital and clinical EMR/EHR  solutions that include financial solutions will be considered a plus
  • Familiarity with SaaS based solutions and related value to buyers
  • Ability to understand pertinent technical questions related to the product or application: type a sequence of instructions to execute demo and bring to the audience’s attention the specific subject at hand
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • EHR/EMR and related billing expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required 
  • Familiarity with project management solutions a plus​
